About the Role

Framatome is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Radiochemist to join our team in the Chemistry & Specialty Technology Business Line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of manufacturing methods for radioisotopes produced via target irradiation using a particle accelerator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing methods for radioisotopes
  • Collaborate with experts on target design, radiochemical separations, and implementation of manufacturing methods in hot cells
  • Lead a team of scientists and engineers to achieve project goals
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes for medical isotope production
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Nuclear Science, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in radioisotope production, target chemistry, separation chemistry, characterization, and synthesis
  • Strong knowledge of analytical methods and software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
