We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Moose Painting Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair and Finishing: Repair cracks and holes, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and plan projects accordingly.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, support social and labour market integration, and recruit newcomers and refugees.
- Support for Youths and Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination, provide diversity and cross-cultural training, and create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements include 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and proficiency in English. The work schedule is 35 hours per week.
