Senior Software Developer Job Description

Tangerine Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for expanding our banking platform and contributing to the development of world-class digital products and experiences that touch millions of Tangerine customers every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and debug software applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale software applications, considering security and scalability requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior developer role.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with cloud development, containerization, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
