About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer-in-Training to join our team. As a key member of our Buildings Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for commercial, public, and mixed-use projects in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your knowledge of mechanical systems, means, and methods to support design work and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Work collaboratively with the design and technical teams to develop and implement building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
  • Assist in determining project scope and fees, and participate in site visits and basic CA tasks.
  • Develop your project management and project lead skills over time.
Requirements
  • Mechanical EIT or Mechanical Designer with relevant project experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on commercial, public, or mixed-use/residential projects in Canada.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing requirements per building codes, energy codes, and other related standards.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Initiative, motivated attitude, and Revit experience.
  • LEED Accredited Professional is a plus.
