Production Manager

Job Summary
Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is a leading IT Asset Disposition & Recycling processor in Canada, committed to enabling safe and secure reuse of electronics, responsible recycling, and recovery of natural resources. We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee warehouse and production activities, ensuring orders are fulfilled and inventory is properly stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve processes and systems to enhance efficiencies and competitiveness
- Maintain quality standards and a clean work environment, free from safety hazards
- Ensure timely shipment of production orders to customers, adhering to delivery schedules
- Review work orders, product specifications, and technical instructions to determine facility requirements and requisition necessary tools and equipment
- Analyze requirements, prepare production schedules, and distribute work assignments according to order priorities and worker abilities
- Coordinate duties associated with inventory management, including month-end cut-off, labeling, cycle counts, physical counts, reconciliation, evaluations, and more
- Manage inventory levels and customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment
- Support the company in driving continuous improvement to reduce manufacturing expenses
- Direct and schedule staff activities to achieve business needs
- Manage employees, including recruitment, progressive discipline, performance evaluations, training, and skills development
- Hold department meetings and maintain strong morale by leading by example, demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Develop and enforce corporate policies regarding work and quality procedures, security, and safety to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of manufacturing supervisory experience
- Forklift License and Lock Out / Tag Out Training
- Considerable working knowledge of Microsoft office programs
- Outstanding leadership, decision-making, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated familiarity with health, safety, and environmental and employment legislation
