Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at DCT Chambers Trucking Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.
Work SettingOur company offers a permanent work arrangement with a competitive salary and benefits package. You will be required to work 35 to 70 hours per week, depending on the route and cargo.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate cargo documentation and timely delivery.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance and safety.
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Accident or incident reports
- Bill of lading
- Driver logbook
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Maintenance and repair reports
