About the Role

Zulu Alpha Kilo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting various functions across the Agency, working closely with our Financial Managers to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Accounting
    • Manage client billings and ensure timely and accurate invoicing
    • Partner with Financial Managers to resolve client issues and implement process improvements
    • Collaborate with account teams to monitor and update job dockets, ensuring seamless project management
    • Determine and calculate month-end accruals, reconciling and closing job dockets with precision
    • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Financial Reporting
    • Generate recurring and ad-hoc financial reports from the accounting system, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
  • General Responsibilities
    • Contribute to the efficiency of the Agency's finance team, focusing on client accounting and process improvements
    • Primary roles include billings, project management, and AR management, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
Requirements
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an agency setting
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • Able to prioritize projects and juggle multiple tasks, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
