Holcim operates in multiple regions, and we are currently looking for a seasonal, full-time Ready Mix Operator.
Position Overview
The responsibilities of this role encompass the following:
- Health and Safety: Uphold safety protocols, actively enhance and comply with them in all operational settings. Follow safety regulations on public thoroughfares, construction zones, and during all operational tasks.
- Environmental Stewardship: Emphasize environmental considerations in daily operations and strive to surpass compliance standards.
- Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients, communicate effectively, and support fellow operators at job sites and production facilities.
- Delivery & Operations: Skillfully operate the truck, managing loading and unloading processes to ensure safe concrete distribution.
- Vehicle Maintenance & Presentation: Conduct daily vehicle inspections, ensure all mechanical and safety equipment is functional, and maintain the cleanliness of the truck.
- Documentation & Communication: Accurately record materials delivered, maintain operational logs, and report any vehicle issues, incidents, or infractions.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates with experience in construction and heavy machinery. Training in Ready Mix Concrete operations will be provided.
- Possession of a current and valid Class 1 or 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement is mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:

- Outstanding time management skills.
- Maintained clean driving record.
This role demands physical endurance and a strong commitment to safety practices. Pre-employment medical evaluations are required. Sound judgment, adherence to safe work practices, and effective communication are crucial for success in this position.
