About the Role:
Humble Manufacturing Co, LTD is seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join their team in Burnaby, B.C. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating Horizontal Bandsaw and Mitre saw, organizing material according to job, labeling and packaging cut material, and maintaining a clean and organized saw area.
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Horizontal Bandsaw and Mitre saw
* Organize material according to job requirements
* Label and package cut material in a clear and concise manner
* Clean and maintain saw area
* Perform other duties as required, including operating miscellaneous sheet metal equipment
Requirements:
* Experience in safely operating saws
* Strong organizational and reading skills
* Ability to measure accurately with caliper and tape measure
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
