About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Assistant to join our team at COMFY SPA LTD. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medical Support: Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients as needed.
  • Supply Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that patients have access to necessary items.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Support Services: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Support: Assist in recruiting and supporting newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disasters.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Equal Opportunities: Apply hiring policies that promote equal opportunities for visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
