Job Title: Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Advanced Health & Sports Clinic: Parksville.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, planning physiotherapy programs, and selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations. They will also maintain clinical and progress reports, teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, and administer evaluative tests and procedures.

Work Setting:

The Physiotherapist will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing physiotherapy services to patients in sports therapy, orthopedics, and manipulative therapy. They will also have the opportunity to work in private practice and develop their skills in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to improve patients' physical function and mobility
  • Use a variety of techniques, including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities, to promote healing and recovery
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
