Grain Millers is an international agri-business with a strong presence in whole grain manufacturing, merchandising, and value-added manufacturing. Our Canadian headquarters is located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, and we have plants across North America.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient shipping and receiving of products to/from our GMCC warehouse. This includes inspecting vessels and products thoroughly to ensure compliance with GMCC, customer, and regulatory standards. Additionally, the candidate will be operating the Turret Truck to pull, pick, move, locate, and stage products and materials within the warehouse.

Essential Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable and capable of operating Forklift equipment with preference for turret truck experience.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift and the ability to pick and put away products in racking heights of up to 30 feet high using a Turret Truck and forklift.
  • Able to work at heights and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to do shift work including Night shifts and weekend shifts.
  • Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with experience in a team-based environment.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to work in a grain processing environment which exposes staff to allergens such as, but not limited to, grain and grain dust.
