Job Title: Handyman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Sangster Service. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and upkeep of residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, drywall repair, and window washing
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Advertise vacancies and show apartments to prospective tenants
  • Supervise other workers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
  • Prepare floors for installations and measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Detect and repair mechanical and electrical problems
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
