About the Role:

The PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our operations team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing individual tasks throughout the design, procurement, and construction process, including submittals and RFI processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project compliance with client document controls and file specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal resources, consultants, client stakeholders, and general contractors/construction managers to ensure project success.
  • Process submittals, RFIs, and change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate meetings and ensure project schedule and work progress are reviewed and tracked.
  • Administer project observation reports and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to build a win-win partnership.
  • Balance client needs and contribute to the development and closure of new business opportunities.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on operations and client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
