Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Good Landstar Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of the organization, including developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, organizing tasks to accomplish work, and overseeing the operational logistics of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Organize tasks to accomplish work and meet deadlines
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization, including transportation and warehouse operations
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and dispatching personnel
  • Track and complete work orders, and prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment and maintain work records and logs
  • Organize warehouse and work areas, and dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders and keep track of shipments
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office
Work Environment:

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to maintain accurate records and ensure proper functioning of equipment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Logistics Coordinator will work 35 hours per week.
