About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Store dishes and utensils in designated areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain their condition.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
