We seek automotive technicians who can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with team members. Our full-service facility requires skilled technicians to foster a successful working environment.

Key Responsibilities
As an automotive technician at Midas, you will be responsible for a diverse range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including:
  • Utilizing advanced computer systems for diagnostics
  • Performing tire services and repairs
  • Managing heating and air conditioning systems
  • Handling steering and suspension work
  • Maintaining belts and hoses
  • Overseeing radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Working with batteries, starting, and charging systems
  • Executing brake repairs
  • Conducting oil services
  • Addressing check engine light issues
  • Providing muffler and exhaust services
  • Carrying out visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to repair vehicles independently while also thriving in a team setting
  • Strong knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust systems, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
  • Demonstrated high levels of personal productivity
  • Understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations for repair facilities
  • Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • Possession of a Provincial Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ownership of necessary tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
  • Capability to service both domestic and import vehicles
