Job Title: Insulation Specialist

Greer Spray Foam Ltd. is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining thermal insulation systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation material for the job
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, and pasting
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insulation installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment
Work Environment:

The Insulation Specialist will work on-site at various locations, including construction and industrial sites. The work environment will be noisy, dusty, and hot, with occasional exposure to confined spaces and outdoors.
