Job Summary

RT Medical is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide care and assistance to individuals who require support with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Transportation: Safely transport clients to appointments, shopping, and other activities.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their medication as prescribed.
  • Respite Care: Provide respite care to clients while their primary caregiver is away.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program or equivalent.
  • Physical Abilities: Possess the physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach, with the ability to lift 50lbs independently.
  • Communication Skills: Possess proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Certifications: Hold valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certifications.
