Job Title: Radiation Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer - Vancouver Cancer Centre. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 1 year commitment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a provincial Radiation Therapy program, committed to clinical excellence through evidence-based standardized care and knowledge generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of radiation therapy
  • Participate in research, administrative, and educational activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
  • Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities
