About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Prizm Carrier Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as maintain a driver logbook and inspection reports.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo, and tarping as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
