Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Bryan de la Cruz. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to children in a home-based setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in childcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. If you are passionate about working with children and have a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Environment:

The Home Childcare Provider will work in a home-based setting, providing childcare services to children in a safe and healthy environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a 30-hour per week schedule, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the children and families.

Language:

The primary language of communication will be English.

Security and Safety:

The Home Childcare Provider will be required to undergo a criminal record check and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Transportation:

Public transportation is available for the Home Childcare Provider.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Home Childcare Provider will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and physical demands.

Personal Suitability:

The successful candidate will possess excellent initiative, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

The Home Childcare Provider will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.

Support for Youths:

The Home Childcare Provider will offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Support for Veterans:

The Home Childcare Provider will offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.

Support for Indigenous People:

The Home Childcare Provider will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.

Support for Mature Workers:

The Home Childcare Provider will apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers.
