Key Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and the public
- Provide valuable insights during project engineering phases
- Ensure project profitability, adherence to schedules, and client satisfaction
- Assist in labor management and develop three-week look-ahead schedules to meet project milestones
- Collaborate with the Project Manager or Construction Manager to create and maintain the project master schedule
- Oversee the project budget and devise recovery strategies when necessary
- Plan and supervise construction activities, including methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and budgets
- Accountable for quality standards and recommend improvements for productivity
- Identify training needs for crew members and facilitate training sessions
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Conduct regular safety meetings
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Address and resolve crew-related issues
- Work collaboratively with occupants in active buildings to minimize disruptions
- Prepare necessary reports as required
- Maintain a Superintendent's log or diary
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
- Perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Plumber or Pipefitter certification
- Completion of Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)
- Current Standard First Aid certification
- Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience as a Foreperson
