Job Title: Development and Technology Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Development and Technology Director to join our team at Jsi Telecom Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our software development efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor Quality Assurance staff to ensure the highest standards of software quality.
  • Conduct regular 1 on 1's, goal setting, and performance assessments to drive individual and team performance.
  • Ensure administrative processes are followed and that releases are on time and of high quality.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure transparency and effective communication with the rest of the organization.
  • Advocate for software quality within the Engineering department and monitor software architecture to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of testing methods and principles, as well as software development best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
  • Comfortable working with customers, senior executives, and other stakeholders.
