Job Title: Labourer, Landscape

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Labourer, Landscape to join our team at Homescapes. As a Labourer, Landscape, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to outdoor maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and stable.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks.
  • Rake and collect refuse, removing litter and garbage from the work site.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including small engine equipment.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail, with the ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
