Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that guest accommodations and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prepare cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all areas are stocked and ready for use.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, public spaces, and hallways, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Inspect and maintain all room amenities, ensuring that items such as towels, toiletries, and linens are replenished and in excellent condition.
  • Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including washing floors, dusting surfaces, and polishing furniture to uphold the resort's high standards.
  • Handle laundry duties by collecting, sorting, and distributing linens and towels, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with guests and team members.
  • Assist in other housekeeping duties as required to support the overall operations of the resort.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning principles and the use of cleaning products.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
