We are seeking a Logistics Dispatch Specialist for our central Courier Services division. This position entails the organization and preparation of internal correspondence, cash handling bags, and outgoing documentation for our courier operations, as well as managing courier pick-up requests.

This is a temporary casual position with flexible scheduling options.

Shifts: - adaptable; morning, afternoon, evening, and rotating weekend shifts.

Qualified candidates should possess customer service experience and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, organize, and allocate reports into the appropriate courier mail containers.
  • Handle incoming calls for pick-up requests and communicate details to the courier dispatcher.
  • Sort and manage internal mail and cash bags returned from accounts receivable for distribution by couriers to designated hubs.
  • Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety and employment policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 25lbs consistently, including repetitive movements and bending, turning, kneeling, and walking.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

This role requires in-person attendance.

Compensation Range: $18.52

The compensation range has been established, but the final salary will be based on experience, educational background, market conditions, and internal equity.
