About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at SR Construction and Renovations. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations: Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Site Setup and Maintenance: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
