Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Varsha Indian Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly stored.
  • Prepare and portion food items, including wrapping and labeling them for storage.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars, and handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on client satisfaction and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • 37-40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
