Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during trips.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist in recruiting and supporting newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, providing them with opportunities for employment and integration into our community.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting economic development and social inclusion.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
  • Work Term: Temporary position, 30 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
