• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
• Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent care and ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
• Manage medications, narcotics, and supplies, adhering to protocols and guidelines.
• Create a comfortable and safe environment that promotes resident dignity, autonomy, and independence.
• Optimize resident potential by maximizing functional ability and seeking support from RNs when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
• Participate in in-service programs, conferences, and workshops to enhance nursing practice and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

• Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC
• Successful completion of RAI MDS certification
• Current First Aid with CPR
• Criminal Records Check
