Investment and Retirement Planning Associate

Oakwater Wealth Counsel, a leading advisory practice, is seeking a dynamic leader to join their team as an Investment/Associate Advisor.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude.

Oakwater Wealth Counsel is a private wealth management practice that provides counsel on tax management, portfolio construction, cash flow management, retirement, estate & philanthropy planning, etc.

As a partner with Harbourfront Wealth Management, a dynamic industry leader and fast-growing employee-owned firm, they offer independence and autonomy, customizing "tailored" financial services and holistic wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, client correspondence, and take ownership of project work.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients and respond to requests for information.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and implement Holistic Wealth Management Plans for clients using the NaviPlan software.
  • Minimum of 3-years investment industry experience.
  • Above-average skills on NaviPlan or other financial planning software.
  • IR Licensed or successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook is an asset.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
