Financial Settlements Specialist

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled Settlements Analyst to join their Toronto office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Transaction Processing: Utilize your expertise in FX to efficiently process and settle financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Reconciliation and Verification: Conduct thorough reconciliations and verifications to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support to meet their financial needs.
- Payment Processing and Settlement: Handle domestic and international payments, including Swift MT103, amendments, and recalls, adhering to strict deadlines and cut-off times.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial transactions and settlement.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of FX, payment systems, and financial regulations, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients.
