Charcuterie Clerk

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Charcuterie Clerk to join our team at Metro Inc. in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade, QC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and count merchandise, such as cured meats, cheeses, or other products sold by the meat department, ordered by the department manager or assistant manager and ensure they are properly placed in the storage area, refrigerator, freezer, or other designated storage area.
• Carve cured meats, cut cheeses, and package them. Weigh, label, and display, according to department rules, cured meats, cheeses, and other products sold by the department.
• Update prices on display tables and, if necessary, on products sold by the department.
• Rotate merchandise on display tables and keep work areas clean.
• Provide customer service at the meat department/cheese counter for customers wishing to purchase products sold by the department.
• Respect government health standards.
• Wear required safety equipment.
• Perform any other related tasks required by their immediate supervisor.
