Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability, or ageing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patients' health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient education and provide guidance on self-management techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Baccalaureate or Masters of Physiotherapy Degree.
  • Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the Gentle Persuasive Approach (preferred).
  • Recent experience in inpatient acute or rehabilitation physiotherapy (preferred).
  • Advanced computer skills (preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift patients safely and effectively.
  • Acceptable performance and attendance records.
