Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Control
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on kitchen operations, sales, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and communication.
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a standing position with frequent walking and bending.
