About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automobile Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Repair and Replace Body Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame, as well as underbody components, to ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition.
  • Surface Preparation and Painting: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, and apply primers and repaint surfaces.
  • Operate Equipment and Tools: Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, and mix paint, blend, and match colors.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet company standards and customer expectations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Certification: Possess a Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience and Skills: Have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the automotive collision repair industry, with a strong understanding of body repair techniques and procedures.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
