About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team at BASIC WINDOW AND DOOR. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of windows and doors in our clients' homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Maintain Work Materials and Supplies

You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all necessary work materials and supplies, including hand and power tools, to ensure efficient and effective installation.

Utilize Hand and Power Tools

You will utilize hand and power tools to complete installation tasks, including reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Read and Interpret Blueprints, Maps, Drawings, and Specifications

You will read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and meet client requirements.

Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls

You will organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

Install Exterior and Interior Steel Studs

You will install exterior and interior steel studs, ensuring accurate placement and secure fastening.

Install Carpeting on Walls or Other Surfaces

You will install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.

Install Door, Window, and Other Hardware

You will install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper function and secure fastening.

Work Term: Temporary

This is a temporary position, with a work term of 30 hours per week.

Work Language: English

English is the primary language spoken in this role, with occasional communication with clients and colleagues in other languages.
