Job Summary

Lipsett Cartage Ltd. is seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. As a Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Safely transport goods across the country in a tractor-trailer unit.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and delivery times to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including communication and issue resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a truck driver, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Willing to travel for extended periods, including overnight stays.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: On the road, with regular overnight stays.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with regular lifting and bending.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
