Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Associate involves engaging with customers and providing them with quality food service in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory.
  • Prepare and package take-out meals for customers.
  • Portion and wrap food items efficiently.
  • Heat and finalize simple food products for service.
  • Serve patrons at counters or buffet stations.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Take and process customer orders promptly.
  • Utilize both manual and electrical tools for food preparation tasks such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
  • Involves handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive duties with extended periods of standing.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Screening Criteria
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Experience
  • Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
