Position Overview

The Tilesetting Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of tilesetters and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Compile production reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Manage and direct workers and project timelines.
  • Organize and schedule various activities to optimize workflow.
  • Facilitate apprenticeship training programs.
  • Set up and maintain machinery and equipment.
  • Estimate project costs and required materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Advise on personnel matters and performance evaluations.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Provide leadership and instruction to team members.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of a team comprising:

  • 3-4 tilesetters
