About the Role

Metrolinx is a leading transportation agency in the Greater Golden Horseshoe region, connecting communities through its various services. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software solutions using the latest concepts in application architecture and standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Lead the preparation of technical specifications and develop detailed technical designs for software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on and resolve technical issues, and make changes to systems and applications.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and provide knowledge sharing to developers and analysts on software development and Azure Cloud.
  • Facilitate collaboration with developers, product owners, and designers to deliver analytics solutions.
Requirements
  • Completion of a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in software development, technical leadership, and project management.
  • Strong technical skills in Azure Cloud,.NET development, and Microservices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
