- Operational Management: Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
- Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Resource Management: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
- Logistics: Supervise and verify the delivery of food trolleys.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Responsible for supervising a team of approximately 11-15 individuals.
Security and SafetyBasic security clearance is required for this position.
Work EnvironmentThe role is set in a fast-paced environment where the ability to work under pressure is essential. Physical capabilities include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with tasks that may involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work HoursThis position typically requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
