About the Job:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our orthopaedic department. Your expertise will be essential in assessing and evaluating patient conditions, reviewing x-rays to confirm treatment plans, and applying casts and splints under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with orthopaedic conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and adhere to organizational policies and protocols.
