Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and providing instructions as needed.
- Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
