Your Impact as an IT Director

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will lead and manage the IT department, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the IT department's operational and strategic plan.
  • Manage personnel, including recruitment, development, performance evaluations, and team motivation.
  • Identify IT needs and recommend resource allocation to support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets current and future data, equipment, and network requirements.
  • Implement procedures, standards, and policies for efficient data processing services.
  • Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure planning to accommodate evolving organizational needs.
  • Act as a technical resource for users, providing guidance and support.
  • Analyze and develop applications to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Manage data management and programming initiatives.
  • Support the organization's adoption of new technologies.
  • Ensure robust computer security systems are in place.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration with a specialization in information technology or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in project and personnel management.
  • Knowledge of application development principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, including Gmail and Drive.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies and their application to organizational growth.
  • Excellent written and spoken French and English communication skills.
