Your Impact as an IT Director
Reporting to the Superintendent, you will lead and manage the IT department, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the IT department's operational and strategic plan.
- Manage personnel, including recruitment, development, performance evaluations, and team motivation.
- Identify IT needs and recommend resource allocation to support organizational objectives.
- Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets current and future data, equipment, and network requirements.
- Implement procedures, standards, and policies for efficient data processing services.
- Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure planning to accommodate evolving organizational needs.
- Act as a technical resource for users, providing guidance and support.
- Analyze and develop applications to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Manage data management and programming initiatives.
- Support the organization's adoption of new technologies.
- Ensure robust computer security systems are in place.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in administration with a specialization in information technology or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT leadership roles.
- Proven experience in project and personnel management.
- Knowledge of application development principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, including Gmail and Drive.
- Strong interest in emerging technologies and their application to organizational growth.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English communication skills.
