Are you seeking a position that offers both challenges and opportunities for professional development? As a Project Coordinator in Electrical Construction, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a significant project.
In this position, you will:
- Assist Project Managers and Site Supervisors in creating and maintaining the project timeline to ensure all objectives are met.
- Manage and update documentation logs while adhering to project management protocols, including change orders and final documentation.
- Provide regular updates on ongoing work and assist with project forecasting, budget management, and efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring proper oversight of subcontractors.
- Engage in site meetings and accurately record minutes for future reference.
- Keep detailed records of materials utilized and progress achieved, in accordance with company standards.
- Proactively identify potential issues or delays and communicate these to management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with at least one year of relevant experience; experience in trades is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project; familiarity with scheduling tools like Primavera is advantageous.
- Experience in interpreting mechanical construction drawings and a background in commercial projects.
