Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Directly oversee shift supervisors, mechanics, and administrative personnel within the department – Approximately 24 staff members Collaborate with schedulers to optimize the workflow and productivity of the workshop, ensuring production targets are achieved Guarantee that all machinery is maintained to the highest safety standards, including quarterly assessments for long-term maintenance needs Establish safety objectives and collaborate with the Health & Safety team to ensure these targets are met Manage expenses and strive for continuous improvement in both internal and external costs related to asset maintenance Refine and uphold AIM's maintenance strategies while considering market demands for equipment Conduct performance evaluations Work with recruitment to ensure the team operates at full capacity Provide insights on vehicle specifications

Required Qualifications

To be a part of our team:

421A license is preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role Strong multitasking abilities and effective communication skills Experience in heavy equipment maintenance, particularly with material handlers and loaders – Knowledge of Liebherr and CAT is preferred Familiarity with hydraulics and industrial lifting equipment Comfortable working in an industrial setting
