About the Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will oversee the daily replenishment processes for the Distribution Center and Sonepar branches. We seek an individual who is meticulous, analytical, and capable of fostering strong interpersonal relationships. Organizational skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Execute daily orders to suppliers for the Distribution Center and branch locations.
  • Communicate minimum/maximum stock levels or supplier-related issues to procurement managers.
  • Review and amend pricing information as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior buyers, product managers, and inventory control personnel.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and Sonepar stakeholders.
  • Address non-conformity reports and merchandise defects promptly.
  • Ensure the availability of high-demand products.
  • Achieve optimal fill rates at branch locations.
  • Work towards enhancing inventory turnover to align with Sonepar's objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • DEC in procurement or administration.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical products is considered an asset.
