We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Risk Modeling and Analytics team as an intern. As a Risk Modeling and Analytics Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in retail banking and risk management, working closely with our experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team's feature generation project, including data extraction, transformation, and data quality issues.
- Work with large, enterprise-level datasets leveraging standardized RBC tools such as Python, SAS, and SQL.
- Support regular and ad-hoc reporting and data analytics, and become comfortable communicating and dealing with senior members of the Risk Modeling team.
- Assist with preparing documentation for audits or other processes.
- Desire to learn and an eagerness to make a meaningful contribution to the team environment at RBC Risk Modeling and Analytics.
- Experience in SAS/R/Python or other mathematical/statistical programming languages.
- Experience with SQL/Teradata or other database management systems.
- Ability to handle and organize large amounts of data and effectively summarize/present it to other stakeholders.
